" I’m so grateful for the gift Blue Rose Theatre—and especially Siobhan Crews—has given my daughter Sophia. Over the years, she’s appeared in multiple plays under Siobhan’s direction, each time finding not only profound growth in her craft but lessons in leadership, empathy, and collaboration that extend far beyond the stage.
Now a junior in high school, she still treasures the friendships, the confidence, and the sense of community Siobhan fostered. Most recently, as part of the writing team for Echoes of Courage, Sophia had the honor of sharing her family’s Holocaust‑survivor story and bringing it to life in performance—an experience she describes as nothing short of transformative.

Blue Rose Theatre has been such a blessing to our family. My daughter has been involved in theater for many years. Working with Siobhan Crews has truly been one of the most meaningful parts of her journey. Siobhan has this incredible gift of helping each child shine in their own unique way. One of the most unforgettable moments was when my daughter had the honor of portraying a Holocaust survivor—and performed the role in front of the survivor’s own children. It was powerful, emotional, and an experience she will carry with her for the rest of her life. We’re so thankful for the growth, confidence, and purpose this group has given her.
